A Musical Celebration of America
Semiquincentennial. Bisesquicentennial. Sestercentennial. Quarter Millennium. However you want to call it, the United States is celebrating its 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. While we may be a British company (and still a bit upset about all that wasted tea), we are proud to have been a part of the American soundscape for over 75 years.
To celebrate, we asked our team in New York to curate playlists that capture the American spirit. They have collected a musical journey, soundtracking America's story from colonial days, to the innovation of multiple genres in the 20th century, up through the modern melting pot that is the American soundscape.
