Second season of true crime anthology series lands on Netflix
Centred on the 1989 murders of José and Kitty Menendez, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is the second season of the series Monster.
Starring Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Cooper Koch and Nicholas Alexander Chavez as the Menendez family, the series chronicles the case of the real-life brothers convicted for the murders of their parents. While the prosecution argued they were seeking to inherit their family fortune, the brothers claimed that their actions stemmed out of fear from a lifetime of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.
It is the second season in the Monster anthology series, following Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and features Easy by Frank McDonald and Chris Rae. Catch Monsters on Netflix now.
